We'd be such a dangerous husband/wife team. We'd have soooooo many cars. And I'd do the cooking, cleaning, and car maintenance. He'd do...laundry, and...? Car washing? Something is wrong with this picture.
Very carefully? I just wrote him a check...he paid for the car and a whole lotta parts for it thinking we'd just sell the car after fixing it up a little. So I paid for the car and all of the parts he bought.
Edit: The car was a million dollars. Pics to follow.
OK, here are the photos from today. If you take a close look at the shot of the two cars in the garage, you'll easily be able to spot the difference between Alpine White I and II. The S50 325i on the left is Alpine White II and the 325iX on the right is Alpine White I...
See how much more yellow Alpine White I is? After we polish the 325iX on Monday morning, it'll be a bit less yellow, but not all that much.
She's got the white plastic bumpers off the '89 325iS autotragic which I just parted/sold. She's going to have the paint guy at work spray them and the trunk spoiler, then we'll toss them on with some brand new Euro mouldings.
Looks verrrrry nice. It really is amazing the color difference between the two. I never notice until I park my car next to my wife's. I actually like the softer white though. In pictures, the AWI catches light weird though, and the body panels look different color if they're off just a degree or two, especially in night shots.
Oh well, IX looks nekkid with all it's trimmings missing. Little SEM black in line for those?
On a side note....ladder to clean the roof...teehee.
