    Clutch Fan

Ok i'm trying to pull the head off of my 325is, i am to the point where i have to remove the clutch fan and exhaust manifold, my problem is the clutch fan, for i am without a 32mm wrench. What are any other options that i might have rather than buying the wrench?

u should go to local bicycle store and get teh wrench for 10-15 dollars. i know the the oem wrench is lilke 50-60 dollars but the one from the bike store works just as well. Als remember the the ran clutch nut is reverse threaded. good luck

I normally use a big punch and a hammer, works every time. Break it loose and spin it off.

Buy a GIANT pair of these:

I mean BIG, with really long handles. (Couldn't find a picture of what I have) They are worth their weight in gold. I use them all the time. Probably cost what that 32mm wrench would but you can use it for all kinds of stuff. I'm pretty certain that's what I used to bust the fan clutch loose.

Use a big crescent wrench if you have one. Tap it to the right at it should pop loose.

Also, you don't have to remove the exhaust manifold to pull the head.

two sets of vice grips, one to hold the left-thread nut and one to hold the water pump pulley.
