I may change my mind if I were to ever drive a modena, but i've driven a z8, and it's the sweetest car i've ever driven.

Choose your flavor: NA Track Beast or Turbo Monster.

            In my eyes:
            BMW's are great cars
Porsches are a little more special, and sexy
Ferrari's are powerful, but a lot of it is status symbol

Given the choice of the three keys the true driver would probably choose the Porsche, but the guy trying to get some would drive the BMW (see the survey), and those trying to look really cool and hip would drive the Ferrari.

Of course I generalize, and all three are awesome, but in my opinion.....Ferrari's may be race bred, but are rooted in bling, bling idealism. Porsche has deep running devotion to performance. Ceramic brakes pwn me, and the aerodynamics and engine details too. BMWs have always been kinda geared towards the yuppies, but still are true to the driving pleasure.

I LOVE BMWs, and i think they're great cars... That being said, i don't see how one can say anything bad about a 360... they're just plain sexy. V8 that revs to 8k rpm and has one of the highest hp to displacement ratios of any na car. SICK. I don't think any auto manufacturer has pulled off refined and raw simultaniously as well as ferrari.

Frankly, i'd take one ANY DAY over a Z8.... Z8s aren't very impressive to me. Saying high end bmw vs. low end ferrari is borderline ignorant. how about comparing prices?? roughly the same... so i guess the low end of ferrari is roughly equivilant in price to a high end BMW making Ferrari higher end over all i suppose...

Finally, saying ferraris don't look like ferraris anymore doesn't make much sense to me... but i guess as long as we're talking about loss of purity in the evolution of an auto manufacturer we could closely examine the e46 m3 eh? Weighing in at 3500 lbs (thats not even the heavy ass convertible) i'd have to say that the beloved M3 had also lost its racing heritage in a MUCH more severe way. How does BMW go from the e30 m3... all but full race... to the e46... full CUSHY. Sure they still put down some decent numbers... but if bmw had stuck to the ideals of the origional m3 would the new one have power adjustable seats or a curb weight thats over 1000lbs heavier than the origional??? probably not.

if you want to see some pictures of a Enzo i saw not too long ago check them out at http://community.webshots.com/user/windnsea00 you will find pictures of a Z8 and Vanquish also on there and some other nice cars (pictures i have personally taken) the Z8 is a blast to drive by the way, very strong low end and a great top end but i would believe the 360 modena would be a better handling car due to its lighter platform. i have a friend with a 355 spider and it's pretty cool but i prefer the 360 modena due its nicer interior and my opinion, better looks
