Heres what I gather:

24008.5. (a) No person shall operate any motor vehicle with a frame height or body floor height greater than specified in subdivisions (b) and (c).

(b) The maximum frame height is as follows:

You can get tickets for your suspension being too low. They have little templates in the central valley that have to fit under your ride. my car had some cut springs, and would scrape reflectors when I Switched lanes it was so nutted at one point. And I never got a ticket....

I did have friends however, who had their trucks C notched, and bagged. The cops will make you lay it out, and if its done right, and not like a puss, it'll lay frame. THATS when your shit gets impounded. That was until the guys were smart enough to put quick disconnects on the switches to make it seem like it wasnt bagged lol.

Id like to know where this goes. What kind of gauge they would use to determine if a car is too stiff, in comparison to what, and how said officer was trained; equipment, calibration, etc. If nothing was found id tell them to suck a dick then punch the all in the faces.
