    Quick question:

Are the front fenders and hood between an 85 eta coupe and an 88 325i convertible the same? Thanks, Andrew

I believe the fenders are different but I know the hoods
      are interchangeable.

I have always thought that the front fenders and hood are all the same on non M e30's.

front fenders and hood are interchangeable on every non m3 e30 ever made.

Cabby's have different part numbers for fenders for some reason

yeah, I was just looking at realoem.com and realized that although the diagrams they provide are exactly the same, the part numbers are different.

Anyone know 100% though, could mean the difference of buying an e30 vert or not. Thanks, Andrew

Diagrams don't mean anything, they're generic. I remember when I was searching for a cheap fender through after market suppliers, they would specify, fits all except convertible. All hoods are the same though, even on m3's.

The lower part of the fender behind the wheel well is slightly longer to accommodate the extra stiffening of a convertible.

                    True story.
The cabbrio fenders are about 1 inch longer at the bottom of the rocker,However the hood will fit.

e30s are like fat girls that USED to be hot, you just gotta work them out to make them hot again.
