I noticed not too long ago that my car (1991 318is) does not have this piece. What is the exact name and where would be the best place to purchase one? I've seen quite a few BMWs driving around without them, why so common? Drives me nuts seeing the clips down there.

its a IS Lip Spoiler. they fall off if you hit curbs or objects in the road. you can go to the dealer or www.abrahamsmotorsport.com . nice people that will help you out.
