I did a vin check and it came up as a IA/IS so im im almost sure its a IS , it has the sport seats and looks like it had the front to .

In the US the 325is was only available from 87-90 .
In '91 you could get a 325i with all of the sport pack options but it was not badged as an "is" .
But like mentioned you do get the desireable "is" side skirts .

Looks like a nice clean car to start with .
If you plan on staying NA for a while you might want to keep the 4.10 diff also .
Once you are turboed the 3.25 or 3.46 would be the best ratio not the 3.73 .
