just got here wanted to say hello, my friends got an e30 so i decided to join and check out the rides over here because he talked highly of this site.....i myself have a 240sx

the only 240sx's that left the factory turboed were silvas(japan version of the 240sx) i plan on swaping out my Ka for the R33 RB25DET...that is the single turbo motor.....i plan on buying the whole front clip from a japan based company

Yes I am becoming familiar with your body codes talking to him because there is often confusion since I have mentioned the S14 (which is also a BMW motor code).

Oh I see , I just viewed here http://www.vendomicarro.com/detalle_...lo.asp?id=9528 ( a local car sell web site), see some pics of that car... and we got some S13s and S14 turbos, Japan Specs imported directly from there, the 240sx is 1.8L TI and the S14 is 2.0L TI I thin...before my bimmer I had a S12 1.8L single cam 8 valve Turbo :P

we got both coupe and hatchback S13s, but they were both called "240sx", and both had pop-up headlights and the KA24E or DE engines.

i had a '91 (s13) and '95 (s14) coupes myself... miss those cars- i like having a six, but the e30s are much less stable and forgiving.

So you have those fastbacks 240sx's? Those are pretty nice.....

Welcome to the site, both 240sx's and E30s are very popular in my family. :D
My sister had a '92 S13 5spd hatchback until it was wrecked, and my mom just got an immaculate '97 S14 SE 5spd.

I like my M3's S14 better though ;)
