ASE Tests...

Well, I just finished taking 3 ASE Tests tonight, and I have one more friday.
I took Automatic Transmissions, Manual Transmission/driveline, and Electronics. I have Engine Rebuilding on thursday night.

Anyone else taking these tests right now?

Just took L1 advanced engine performance tonight. Was easier than I expected. I think I still missed about 18-20% though...........then again i said the same thing after A6 and A8 and I ended up missing about 4% on A8 and about 12% on A6.

I think I did pretty well... I should have taken the tranny tests last semister when I had te classes, but I didn't sign up in time. oh well, live and learn I guess.

They always seem to me to come down to common sense. Ive taken a few ASE style tests for some auto competitions and basically its common sense. Ive also taken some manufactures tests that are all the ASE style. Are the real tests more ur common sense style?

I have my Auto Tech III final exams next week for suspension, braking, and electrical. They are ASE something, is this similar to what you are talking about?

Anybody get their results back yet??

I BARELY passed the L1, 37 out of 50. :shock: Now I have A6, A8, and L1.

Next up for me is the smog license. :D How about you guys??

I am in Santa Barbara for the summer... I am working full time and moving in 3 weeks, so I am busy as hell right now... maybe later this summer when things calm down a bit I will make a trip home up there and we can meet up again. I will bring my M3 again... this time on my new 18's (comming in 4-6 weeks) 8)
