I think the wheel is genuine ACS piece, but embleim is missing...

I think M42 is just enough for DD, thinking that this car was originaly with POS M40b18 engine(115hp).

BTW BMW never made m42 touring...

EDIT: sports leather interior, Hartge lookalike wheels, LSD, i think its a good deal with 1700e

I would have to disagree, I have seen many M42 touring in Germany and France. There are many more body/engine combinations available there than there is in the US.

Many will take tourings and swap an S50 in it back in Germany. A friend of my cousin had a red one that was pretty sick with 10x17 Borbet Type A.

Realoem claims, that m42 touring was never made, only m40 engined 318i, perhaps they are swapped or realoem is wrong.

17" 4*100 Borbet a's are really rare, but I'll be putting on my 9*16" anyway, if I buy this car tommorrow.

I believe they would use the 5 lug wheels since most 10x17 borbet A wheel are for 5, 6 7 series. At least that's what I've seen them mounted on over there.
They often put 16X9 in the front and 10x17 in the back on the E30's but needless to say you better know somebody that can roll the fenders pretty good.
Every time I go visit my family, I go crazy looking at all the bimmers and mercedes over there.

So I bought it.

It has no rear window now, since th P.O's subwoofer enclosure had worked its way out :), that incident dropped the final price to very good level.

Eyebrows are allready out.
