WTB: Moped or Vespa - Reccomendations?

I used to work at a motorcycle shop called arlen ness and the vespa's we sold there were always a big hit for people wanting to cruise around town. I believe that the fly 50 is your best bet. A few extra options are available on that one. Good luck on the search!

I'm looking to buy a moped for around Boston getting to work & back and to have something new to screw around with. Does anyone have any suggestions on brand & age that I should look for or avoid?

I like hondas & Vespas but dont know anything about them. I'm pretty sure that anything under 50cc is ok wothout a license so I want something that is 49.9999 cc that has a lot of aftermarket bolt ons like carburetors, exhaust, etc.
