WTB: Moped or Vespa - Reccomendations?

haha i kinda wanna see apic of this girl. nice moped should be braking down anytime soon. easy to fix right? i had one back in the day before i got a car haha o man i made my neighborhood into a motocross track haha try going down a driveway with a skateboard ramp at the end haha kicks ass ...until you realize you dont have shocks then your nutz start to cry for help!!

Well here it is: (or a picture of the same model)

It's not quite what I had in mind but it was $100 and hasn't been registered or run sice 1977-1979ish. For anyone who cares it's a pedal start with a manual clutch. You hold the clutch, pedal, release the clutch to pop start and you are off. No battery, no starter, very light. I've got it mostly torn down & will send out the wheels this week to be refinished. I'll have the frame repainted and hope to have it back up and running by September-ish.

my friend used to have a honda spree that we used to ride in the woods. we'd ghost ride it into trees and run over huge logs and shit. thats definately not gay, just a good time.

Its more for the girlfriend but I'll use it too. Maybe we're from different places but around progressive cities like Boston, NYC, SanFran, LA or any beach bum location like Newport, RI, Martha's Vinyard, Nantucket, Bermuda or any of the other islands it's actually a pretty popular method of transportation. Sorry if you aren't comfortable enough with your sexuality to be caught dead on a moped... Better stick with calling people gay & flying the stars & bars... yeah that's much more progressive & open-minded....

I dont even know how much to spend or if I should buy a POS and fix it up or spend the $ on a newer or nicer one...

moped with a big bore kit. im guessing if they pull you over, they wont disassemble your engine to find out if you are running an oversized piston/bore.
