      I'm a tech, but I know a hell of a lot more about the newer cars than E30s. I work at a dealership, so we rarely work on E30s. I'm learning slowly but surely on my own car, and if I don't know the answer, I know about 30 other BMW techs who probably do.

          When I worked at a bmw dealer a couple summers ago, the only guys that knew e30s were guys close to my dad's age.

              I work on BMWs Monday through Friday(and sometimes even on weekends) week after week after week. I know the newer cars like the back of my hand, but when it comes to these cars, there are a lot of members of this board who know 100 times more than I do.

                That's true, an E30 is a rare sight at the dealership where I work.

                  I work at a shop that tends to deal with older BMW's, 2002, E30, E36, E39 E46 are our bread and butter.
