Its been 4 years since the timing belt was changed. Ive only put 25K on her in that time. I know the service interval says 4 years or 60K miles. So am i OK for a little while longer? Also, ive never had a car running on full synthetic oil before. Ive had my e36 for almost 10k miles and have never changed the oil. the P.O. did it right before i got it. Am i due?

Usually anywhere from 30-50k is the limit, so you should be good up to 50k. I'm not sure how brittle they become over time, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt.
BTW, another E30 person. I'm down in Shelton/Stratford (where I work) and live in North Haven.Originally posted by BillBraskyE36's are the Stephen Baldwin of the 3 series family. They barely hold everything together and they only sold a lot because of the popularity of their older sibling.

but then again, it is only 40 bucks, and an hour off your time to do it, better safe than sorry......"We praise or find fault, depending on which of the two provides more opportunity for our powers of judgement to shine."

They tell you the time or mileage since it is the best way to judge the life of the service. Another words just since you have only gone about half the miles but the time is where it is recommended that it actually could be dry rotten or getting brittle in some fashion. I do not think that I would push it to much longer on replacing it just incase. You are better safe than sorry you know.
And oil changes I would never recommend going 10k between changes period. Personally even if the dealer recommends otherwise I would never push past 5000 max but always try to change every 3500
