    Bumper tuck question

    Hey guys,
for those of you that have tucked bumpers, can you tell me how much of the bumper shows? length of the chrome part showing basically.
I have a 1990 convertible with the adjustable bumper shocks and think they are already tucked to the max but not sure.

    Thank you

i have a little less than two inches front and back. the back one goes in almost all the way but if you do that there will be a gap between the bumper and the trim

Adjustable? You mean you drilled a hole in them? I tucked mine about 2" in the front, about 3" in the rear.

No, actually, the cabbie shocks on the 1990's are adjustable, they have a screw in the back to adjust the length of the shock.
I will check where mine seat.

          Ah ha...adjustable is cool.

Why not just go plastic if you have a cabby?

I wanna put a plastic in the back but I have an IS Airdam in the front and kinda like it so I might tuck the bumper in and color match it to see if it looks ok.
I have been doing so much on this car that I run out of time to install all the stuff I bought. Plastic bumper for the rear will be in a few months I think.

no need to remove, just drill and duck so you don't get squirted by goo.

                unless you like that
