ANSA Exhaust

Does anyone ever had / have Ansa muffler on their E30 ?
How does it sound compared to Supersprint or stock ? I heard they're pretty quiet too. Price wise, they're pretty good I think :roll: . It'll be great if someone can post a video. Any other muffler that's quiet but kinda have a deep sound ?

ANSA are a waste of money. Lasts about 2-3yrs before they rust out and fall apart.

Get a full stainless steel setup, and have it for the life of your car.

I have an ansa muffler on my 318i. I've been pleased with the way it sounds.
It's very quiet at idle.. but has a very nice growl at 4k+.
I've only had it a few months.. I too have heard they rust after a couple of years.

my E28 has an Ansa, and while removing the exhaust last night for my engine swap, the muffler almost broke off the pipes because it was soo rotted out inside. Don't buy one!!
NOTE: I am putting a custom exhaust with borla muffler to replace the entire system.

Get a borla, they are awesome, and you can have one custom fit for around $250 and it will sound badass.

yeah, my friend has an ANSA on his 325i. Its quiet and sounds pretty good at high RPMs, but they dont last long, and his last one had tons of rattles and holes. Personally, I would spend my money on something better.

i heard there are 2 kinds of ansa exhaust, the OEM and Sport. are both of them low quality ?

ansa mufflers suck! i am pissed i put one in last october and last week i had my car up in the air and its rusted. only a matter of time before a hole rusts through it. just my two cents. :?

what other muffler that you guys recommend, that's NOT TOO LOUD - Supersprint level of sound ?
