Didn't get a chance to get these out today, sorry.

      Will ship tomorrow.

Shipping today, USPS with delivery conformation - so I'll know when you get them.

Canada people, expect a delay, I'll check on shipping, and customs.

You should all have a huge smile on your face, as I'm forced to raise my price on this by at least $10-$20...

        Install is easy
        -
        remove the lower dash panel,
remove the two bolts for the hood release,
remove the screw for the kick panel plate
remove the screw that is holding the speaker in (3 screws)
remove the two screws that hold the relay in, and pull it out as far as you can - (about a foot of wire)
        pull the relay
        install the "new" relay
        button it back up

        ..

        done and done...

Got them all in the mail today around noon. For the Canadians, they were sent USPS first class, and I filled out a customs form. I put the value at 35.50 USD.

I'll try and get some instructions on line, but it's really easy.

Also, each unit was tested before I shipped it. So you will be good to go!

Thank you all for your biz.

          my email address is george.graves@gmail.com
or you can PM me here if you have any questions.

PS - I'll be selling a few on Ebay, I'll post here or in the classifieds the link if anyone is interested in bidding (I need to find out what the most I can get for these for now)

          Thanks again,

          George

Got mine today.......I thought thw wires off your unit would have been fit inot a connector plug for the relay socket but they aren't. Now here come the questions. I have a 318is no relay but have socket. Socket has 6 wires connected. colors are..
1-brown--yeah yeah ground (possible wire to cut)
                2-brown/yellow
                3-green/white
                4-red & red/black ** 2 wires feed into one connector
                5-brown/green
                6-brown/purple
Your wires are as you well know red-green-yellow-blue-black. Do you have the color to color match up?
                Thanks..

This all was way more labor then I ever expected it would be.

Maybe its time to "sponsor" a family of asians that live in your basement and assemble these units.

CLICK HERE FOR A PRINTABLE VERSION:

I'll post more info up in a little bit, but if you *have the relay factory installed* - that is how to plug it in.

People with no relay, hang on till I can give you more info tonight.

NOTE: If you want to adjust the delay time, make VERY SMALL AND TINY CHANGES to the blue "pot" in the corner of the board, Clock wise = shorter, counter clock wise = longer. Move it about 5-10 degrees at a time, if you go to far it will not function corectly, and you'll need to return the pot back to it's normal settings, make note of it initial postion before changing.

(Max time = 5 mins, min time approx 20 seconds)

Don't expect to REALLY like this mod untill it's dark out side, then you'll LOVE it!!!!

Sounds good George. I know you R WAY BUSY. As a sound engineer I dig wiring stuff so no worries here. Now my 325iX has custom 6 1/2 inch kick panels that I made to install Focal Speakers. That will be fun to take out to get to the relay. My iX actually has a timer on it to...just different then what you have made. Thanks and here is the input of wires as related to your pin out.
