$5,900 is a rip! Worth max about $3k IMO.

I don't know what kind of nice e30 vert you can get for 2500, they all go for $3500-6000. it's going to cost you more then $2500 to bring it all back to good condition. $2500 won't get you far, some nice BBS, PS2 and GC coilovers on a $2500 220k mile vert? I have one e30 I had to fully restore, you would think my dad can look at me and learn from my mistakes and start with a less F*ckd car. Just have to go big and spend 15k on your e30 like me lol.
I bought my 88 5 speed E30 Cabby with 110K on it for $2800.00 from the 2nd owner with all records.

On a scale of 1-10, the car is an 8 overall.

Driver front fender was replaced with one of the same color from a junkyard, but doesn't quite match. Most people can't tell unless I point it out to them.

AC doesn't work. May just need a recharge but AC is not really needed in a Cabrio anyway.

Other than that, it's in nice shape.

Lachssilber with a Blue interior that I recently swapped to Black.

Dyed the rear seats myself, found a nice pair of black Cabby/M3 seats for the front, and used vinyl paint on the rest of the interior and the boot lid. Carpet isn't black, but it's mostly covered by the black floor mats.

I also put a set of Basketweaves on it. And new Roundel stickers on the wheels and new emblems front and rear.

Was recently offered $3750.00 for it, but I'm not selling.

Silver with Black is a nice color combo IMO

I think the price is right for a 92 Mtech 2. They seem to go 4-8 auto 6-10 manual.
The 91 Mtechs I have seen as high as 15 for manual and 12 for auto.

Did we all forget how expensive and sought after the M-tech 2 kit is in the US. But I guess it's only exterior styling, who wants an m-tech 2 kit anyways when there is such an abundance of diving board e30s :).

Can be a nice car but $5900 is definitely NOT a steal for that car no matter how you slice it .
considering the above, I don't see how 5,500 could be a very very nice price. For $5900, I would buy something for around 2500 and spend the difference on all kinds of cool shi'ite for it.

the new top is easily $1200 so keep that in mind, ask for maintainence receipts, drive the car around, check it thru. If it is in mint shape, I think $5500 is a very-very good price for it

I bet she'll go even lower on the price. I've been watching it for a while. She wanted close to 7 grand a few weeks ago.

This car was on the forums a month or 2 ago, I wonder if the price is why it's still on the market? Did you go see it yet?

IIRC, It was in Seattle somewhere, and the gal was a UW law student/recent grad. Same car? Not trying to get in your deal, just wondering if it's the same car.

I knew the AWD was pretty rare, but wow they only produced double the amount of E30 M3s. I want one so bad to take up to the mountains to go snowboarding. Also I can't see any harm in some rallying, dirtye30.com :)

It doesn't list how many appearence package cars were produced, only full m-tech cars.
