do you have a metric mechanic motor?

just looking for some r3v info on the metric mechanic motors. does anyone have one? how do you guys rate them . M20 2200 im not looking for frame twisting HP just around the 200 range. the MM motor im looking at has one that outputs 205.

how would you guys rate this against a swapped motor. e36 M motor or any other e36 maybe e46 swap.

MM motors are really sweet, very well built and give some major bragging rights. But if I remember correctly, they start at like $6500+core. That is WAY more than an s52 swap would cost if you do it yourself. I would say it's not really worth the $.

any m50/m52 with s50/52 cams will out put more than 205hp. add to that any basic bolt ons i.e. pulleys, exhaust and you are well over that for a little more than half the cost of that bare motor.
