Last time I checked, most people on this board have e30's, so the demand for a car with nearly 300k is going to be a tough sell. Especially when it's priced at about a grand higher than it's worth.

That thing is a parts car, 12-1500 tops.

Hey... well what do you know..... i'm at $2500. Man i still havent doen all the misc. stuff. Well i know that the OBC works. And that the A/c works. Everything in the engine bay has been replaced at some point and does not have 277K. In fact the car wasntt even moded before it had 130K. How much can i get fro all the crap in there?

Dude 12- 1500??? The LSD alone is a third of that. And lets not even get into about how
cheap i priced half of this stuff. The engine and the block have 277K, but everyother part that has been added has 150K or less. The car wasnt moded all at once either. 12-1500????? Ok sure, when do you want me to bend over?

don't get your panties in a bunch because you can't sell your car for what the parts are worth. That's the truth with 99% of e30s out there. That's also probably the reason that Charlie told you that you'd get more money if you PARTED IT OUT, like you listed in your previous post. Again, this is assuming that you find a buyer for all of those parts.
In the general e30 community, your car is not that special, it's a stock 325is with 280k
Up until about a month ago I considered my car almost all stock, and I've done more shit to it than you can probably imagine.

You know... i dont even know what to say. First of all, Charlie did not tell me to "part it out." So before, you "put me in my place" read all the posts first. What Charlie told me was that my car was a "parts car worth no more then 12 - 1500."

Now before everyone else here, "gets their panties in a bunch," you people need to chill with my whole "you're poor comment." Dont get all defensive. Most of us are college or HS students... and for those of us that spend money on our own cars and mods, then we are poor. My ass is poor. And my ass is 40K in debt in college loans all under my own name, and i'm only a soph. Do my parents have money... yes. Do i see any of it, hardly. If your parents have money and they hook you up with whatever you want thats great. But dont get all defensive when the word poor is thrown around. ITS A JOKE.... and most of us college people are poor, its normal.

As far as this whole thread is concerned... i posted a week ago to see how much people think i should ask for when i sell my car. I also posted in the FS section. I dont expect you guys to buy my car. I have posted classifieds elsewhere. But i do know that other people that do not have e30s come to these forums to find some. Thats how i sold my eta a while ago.

I'm leaving the e30 crowd, and i'm sad about it. But some of you guys need to grow up.
