    timing belt inspection question

    is there any way to inspect the timing belt on a 325i to see if it is in good shape?

    If you have it down far enough to inspect it, just replace it. Only a couple hour job your first time if you know how to turn a wrench.

      If in doubt then replace it. Confidence is the key ingredient to a healthy motor.

        No. A visual inspection won't determine anything.
