Euro Bumper Turn / Signal Light

^^^^ What he said. The difference is in Europe the lights in the bumper are strictly a turn signal (the only time it lights up is as a blinker.) The parking/running light is up in the top of the euro headlights (cool.)
I actually drilled a small hole in my euro bumper signals and put small city lights into the houseing next to the blinker bulb. I spliced those into my now gone side marker lights so when I run just my parking lights I do have city lights illuminating my bumper mounterd signals. Hopefully that makes sense.

thanks for all your replies.
i understand that US turn/signal lights has 3 wires and euro has 2.
Which one to leave unconnected and which two to connect to where?
I like the idea of drilling a hole and insert a city light bulb. i can splice the "now gone" side marker to this "new city light" - what kind of bulb & connector should i buy for this. I have no idea what a city light looks like.
pics will be greatly appreciated.

get your multimeter out (if you have one. if not, go pick one up, they're cheap and an important tool) and meter it. One will be ground and should be a brown or black wire. then turn the parking lights on and meter the other two wires. One will be hot ane one won't. Then just to be sure, turn the turn signal on on that side of the car and meter the other wire. It should be hot intermittently (sp?).
I hope that makes sense. It's late, and I have a slight buzz going.

makes sense. was just hoping somebody will give me the wire color so that i do not have to go through testing which one is hot and which one is not. thanks.
