    DASC on an E30?

I've got a '93 M42 in my '91 318iS. Does D/A make a supercharger that will fit my engine, and if so, would it fit installed in my car? Just out of curiousity, not seriously considering it or anything.

no prefab kit. You dont have the knock sensors that he DASC is built for. Its custom for you.
      Im now E30less.

Cool. I was browsing around and figured I'd ask.

Was it the m42 out of the e36? (different intake manifold).

If so, then yes, the DASC will mount up to that M42, you do have the knock sensors you would need. Not sure on the space limitations with the e30 hood, but I imagine it could be made to fit.

I think the belts used on the pre-95 M42 are different from the belts used in the post-95 M42...
            Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're using ribbed belt to drive the alternator, fan clutch and the PS pump, then it should be the same type of belt used for the DASC. Only that the DASC-provided belt is longer.

All post '92 M42's have knock sensors, the DISA intake manifold, and a serpentine belt instead of V-Belts.

It'd be kind of interesting to have a 200+hp SC M42, but I'm not even going to bother dumping money into this pit.
