    Yes its a friends monza pro street show car.... Fully blown 350 with a 400hp shot of nitrous I think he has said it is 1186hp... 9in ford narrowed rear end the works, blah blah blah...

    I did these on my '91 325i and since it was a black car I opted to go with the two tone smoked upper with red lower. Mainly to break it up some , I just thought that all smoked would have been to much of a black look without some contrast. The uppers on mine are the turn signals and backup lights. The lower is the brake/parking lights and optional rear fogs which I turned into brakes instead since the brake lights were only on the outside lower corners and looked sorta strange. IMO these look alot like the e28 taillights so not as ricey anyways.... Here is a picture of my car although dirty as hell and not the best photo it is at least an idea of what it looks like

    And if it doesn't look good it is easy enough to remove and polish up the tail light lenses again.

    Well I agree with you then. I thought you were tlaking about layering them until they were dark black. I do think that look good with a light coat
