When i had mine set(E34 M30 535) up he hadn't mapped an M20 before,he hadn't mapped an M30 before either but he start's off with a base map from a vaguely similar engine(my base map started off as an Vr6 Golf)then he work's thru the igition and fuel map's at differant rev's and throttle position's looking at the power out put's from the roller's and tweak's and fiddle's till it's spot on.

Who know's your base map might be the one from my car ?

I did all my own wiring,it's not hard just a bit fiddly.

Give us a shout if you need any other info.

The system great, even better if i had a laptop !?

I havn't got much in the way of picture's but here's a couple.I'll do a couple of screen captures of the operating soft whare later for you.

The second picture was taken just after it was fitted, hence the wire's every where.

The engine bay look's a bit differant now,the below's from the air filter to the pipe is now replace with a 100mm Samco elbow, the 3 inch metal pipe has been replaced with a home made glass fiber pipe that goes from 100mm down to 3 inch at the TB and is heat insulated with some foam filled sticky tape stuff that's used on water pipes normaly. The Kenlow fan is now controlled by the ECU so i've binned the themostatic switch that came with the fan kit.

if you had to describe the gains what would you say ?
was power greatly improved as well as the drive of the car ?

i do appreciate your time with this.

If you viewed it in isolation then the gain's arnt massive but thing's like torque delivery and throtle response have improved well.It all depends how well you think your exisisting set up is coping with the mod's that you've done.

If you view it in the bigger picture then i'd say it was great because it open's up the opurtunity for future big mod's like individual TB's and f/i.

Here's the screen grab's i promised you earlier and a fuel injector table that i found.
