Thinking of selling my car....how does this one compare?

So I love my E30, but I've had it for almost two years now. I know that normally isn't a long time, but for my family it is, since we don't normally keep cars for more than a year.

Anyways, I've fallen in love with this Mercedes 190-

What do you guys know about these cars? What are your opinions on them? I love the styling of them, but how do they perform, especially compared to our E30's since thats what I'll be switching from. Are there any good forums for these cars? I've checked MBworld, but no one posts in the 190 section :?

Most mercedes owners dont go on forums. 8)

There is the select few 190 drivers that mod them but I think the tuning base is rather small compaired to bmw in general.

And from what ive heard the 190 and even the evo models dont stack up against the M3 or the likes of that. Its still to dare I say mercedesish.

Anyways, my freind has a 190e 2.6, and all I can say is have fun driving a boat around. They brake well, but lack in all others in my opinion.

Sorry if I've started something I shouldnt have, I just wanted some opinions. Affording the repair costs is not an issue. I can do that, no worries.

My mom was looking at a 2?? it was a Euro version but had the bumper converted but Euro engine. I test drove it and turned around as fast as possible it was a Pure boat, plus around half the electrical items didn't work, engine ran ruff, trunk was moist(we think the car has been flooded).

i drove in some well maintained ones, very smooth, definiatelly a benz. But really does lack in the performance area, unless you do a little modding. It depends what kinda of driver you are. A performance oriented one, or a crusier.
