Not everybody has the same taste in vehicles . If we did it would be a very boring world.

It's down to a rolling shell now. Had to get the 7 layers of paint off of it. The motor is a 383 stroker,4bolt main with new SCAT crank, GM rods and flat top pistons (all balanced assembly). Milodon gear drive with aluminum cover. Studded mains. Crane .600" lift roller cam (260&266 degree @ .050"), roller lifters and springs with 10 degree retainers. Heads are World Product steel done by Brzenski with 7/16" studs. Harland Sharp 7/16" roller rockers. Intake is a McFarland Tork-Link, 850 cfm carb. Mallory Uni-lite distributor, Moroso pan, CSR electric water pump. Hooker headers. 350 trans with 5200 stall converter. That's all i can think of now, I'm hopping for low 10's high 9's in the 1/4.

EDIT:here is a picture before it went to the blasters

Seriously though I live in Bend Oregon which is like a 50/50 mix of what some would call hippies and some would call hill billys. I guess I am a hippie because I get soooo pissed off when some fuck ass in his jacked up f350 without a scratch on it, polished rims, and no flaps cuts me off in traffic. Then when I pass him I see 5ft 0" dude driving like he is the shit because he gets 8 mpg. I understand people that like to go off-road because I like it too but most people that have those kinds of rigs around here are just ass holes that have never even taken them off the pavement.

                    To OP:

That thing is awesome! I love the whole sleeper thing. It's something different that not a lot of people do.

Couldn't be closer to the truth. I also live in Bend and agree with EVERYTHING you said to the T. I'm all for guys who take their off road equipped truck to the trails, but there are SO many who don't use them for anything but daily commute. It's ridiculous. What's funnier is seeing one of these trucks with a 4'6" woman driving it.
