    Changing Aspect Ratio

Can you change the aspect ratio of a video and then save it as a new file? I have the BMW M3 CSL Top Gear video, ut it is formated in the wrong aspect ratio. I can open it in Divx and change it, but I want to burn it to a VCD so I can watch it on my TV and it shows up wrong. Is there some way I can change it in Adobe Premier or some other program? Thanks for any help, I'm new to this. :) ;)

Try using VirtualDub, search around and you will find the program.

Problem. The CSL Video is in .wmv format and will not open in VirtualDub. I could convert it if someone could give me the name of a good video converter. Or does anyone else know a another program?

Which aspect ratio is it in now? 16:9? And I'm assuming you want to change it to 4:3? You'll lose a ton of the picture if you do that.

It should be in 16:9, but it's in 4:3 so the picture is stretched height wise. Hence why I want to fix it.
