    diving board bumper removal

    how do you remove a diving board bumper? both front and rear?

    There are four bolts on the back side of the bumper, a pair on each side.

    >> 1988 3.1 ITB E30 /// 2002 E46 M3 6MT / 2008 335xi 6MT / 1991 S38B36 E30 (sold)

        To add to the posts above. When you take the rear shocks out there is a bolt under the car on the frame rails for the bumper shocks. drivers side is under the heat sheild for the muffler.

          Any secrets to getting the bolt out that's under the heat sheild for the muffler?

            Mine was simple cause i only have two glass packs in the way there. So i could unbolt the heat sheild. But you may have to drop the exhaust down to get to those bolts?
