    m30 Supercharged

Since I'm looking into building an m30 with FI...I figured it would be great to S/C it and make it a torque monster. I don't want to hear "it's a waste of time" or "turbo it" because i've made up my mind...kinda. Fabbing up brackets and such is part of the fun of doing something different.

My point being...as I've done my research I've obviously come across a plethora of stock supercharged cars. I have looked into the Eaton M90 and M112 along with their maps...does anyone have any insight on which one might work better? I've also read that the newer years are vastly superior to the older, which years?? Along with Eaton, what about vortec, whipple, powerdyne...are there any that might mate well with the m30? I'm definitely new to S/C so any input is appreciated.

I would learn how to tune a EMS before you start on FI. That is the hardest part of the whole setup. It took me a long time to figure out my standalone and to get my car to run well. I would call some of the bigger S/C companies and ask them what works best for a 3.5 liter 6 cylinder as a starting point.

i've read up on the MS website...anything else you recommend to contain the learning curve?

I don't really know how to go about learning how to use it if it's not being applied to anything in particular...ie S/C

Turbo on the M30 is easier. Ask m3fan4eva.

turbo is easier, but originality is better (i might eat my words on this)

I bought myself the Corky Bell Supercharging book today and have been reading. Good read but still want to know what other think.

do you have the money to pioneer such an endeavor? ;)

there is a time and place to follow the masses... people have been turboing E28s and E24s for decades. ;)
