89 m20 ignition parts onto a 86 m30

before i even thought of the m50 swap i bought all new wires, coil, disrib cap, blah blah blah. i want to know if they will work on my 86 m535i. they only have about 7k on them and the ones on my m30 look to be chewed up by rats.

rotor and cap are the same part number for the m20 and m30 - That's for sure.

The spark plug wires might be too short, depends on the make I think.
