Things always seem funnier when it happens to a dwarf. Even things that are not funny become funny when a dwarf gets involved.

If someone walks across 8 lanes of traffic and gets hit by a car, that terrible. If a dwarf gets hit by a car, that's funny!

If someone slips and falls down a flight of steps, we will rush over to them to see if they are OK. If a dwarf falls down the steps, we would try very hard not to laugh.

If you go to the corner store to get a pack of cigarettes, the iranian guy with a turban and long beard reaches up to the shelf to get you a pack of Lucky Strikes. If the iranian guy happens to be a dwarf (beard and all) and uses a ladder to get the cigs, then its funny.
