You are annoying. Seriously. You make comments with no thought process behind them.

I didn't know 16.2 was slow and 15.4 was fast. JHower's eta with a 2.93 ran 16.2, so take your guess what it will do with a 3.73. My chipped 325is ran 15.4.

Buuuuut your friend has a POS eta that can't keep up with you, so they are slow. Good call..

I have a 325is track car and a 325e daily driver. I'm not claiming the eta is the performance car the 325is is. I'm claiming it's not the slow POS everyone makes it out to be.

It doesn't matter. Neither are drag car's and neither are powerful. Just drop it.

That's definitely smoking the eta

I'm not saying I would take an eta on the track... that's what I bought a 325is for. But quit saying the car is slow and useless - it's not.
My best friend has an 87 eta chipped with my old 373.
I have an 87is (duh) chipped with a 410 and I kill him on a regular basis.

The runs were an average of me on the flattest road I could find, timed in both directions. However, in playing around with the borrowed g-tech I surmised that it can be optimistic. The 0-60 in 8.6 and 85mph in 16 seconds can be duplicated with a stopwatch however so I think it's legit for my car.

It is otherwise stock as far as the driveline is concerned. Plenty of suspension mods of course! Averaged over several runs I got a 0-60 time of 8.6 seconds and a 1/4 mile of 16.0 seconds at 85mph. It's faster than a 318is and slower than a 325is. No reason for hate! :-)
Plus it was cheap and gets over 25mpg on the highway.

I used a gtech and it told me my eta did the 1/4 in 15.2

That was the last time I used a gtech.

I dont drive that route anymore. That was a couple of summers ago when the route was new. Cops were rarely there and people took advantage of it. I believe that it has slowed down now that cops are around every corner.

But either way people drive like idiots in the morning here. Coffee junkies hopped up on caffiene doing their makeup/shaving, talking on cell phones, and driving with their knees. Needless to say I've seen some nasty accidents.

Thats because they only go that fast?
better get used to it, i don't think the best chip in the world could save you.

Hm I wouldnt know. Never really pushed it. 110-115 was just keeping up with traffic between 7 and 8 in the morning on I-485. Traffic is rediculous there. I had to stick to the far right lane in my '98 Silverado 5.7L because it topped out at 100 and it was a hazard for me to be any farther left.

Dont ask me why people go that fast in a 70 mph zone. I couldnt tell you.

Oh yeah. Most definitely. I never really looked into it though because the car always ran like a champ. Always fired right up, didnt burn a drop of oil, and there were no odd noises or interior rattles at all. Great car while I was in high school.
