I'm pretty sure BMW didn't. I bet the reason they dont have more cars in, is because BMW is too stingy to liscense them. If it were up to the game maker, I'm pretty sure they would have a lot more BMWs. Am I wrong? Notice on MLB 2004 that Bonds is not on the roster. :? He asked not to be.

heh. anyone else notice that in gt2 you can't take a bmw to the wheel shop? i was guessing some licensing issue was going on there too.

Conside this. GT4 is suposed to have +-500 cars, right? Well, the link with the pics only showed 240 cars, and some of them I notised were doubles. So where are all the other cars? Maybe those pics were the only ones the developers wanted to show he public at this point. So really, we will just have to wait and see...

They definitely wouldn't show the entire line of cars at E3, no way.

Thats why I'm still hopeful for an E30 M3. I mean come on, they put in the Taurus SHO for goodness sakes...and there's always cars you have to unlock...

Also, that link was definitely great though, even if there were some doubles. Showed that the man behind the game (Kazunori?) has finally gotten some acceptance in the car world by making his own renditions and bodykits for cars (Gran Turismo Aero Nissan Fairlady), and putting in tuning cars (the Celica, and the AE86 based off that anime series you all know). There will also be a hot rod that earned its right to be in the game after winning at the last SEMA shows Gran Turismo award. Should be amazing.

I just read this. There will be a photo shoot mode. Think of it like Photoshop and Gran Turismo graphics and filters at your disposal! Anything you can think up for a picture, you can make. The game might also bring back the GT2 option of turning your car, as Trent would put it "FUH RAZE" where your car is transformed into a race car.

Also, the game will feature DRIFT COMPETITIONS. NURBURGRING is an official track. The 13 mile version. New interface so you can choose and select cars easily in garage mode. Mechanical and battery failures, exhaust flare....

Thank goodness I bought a Sony 24" flatscreen when it was on sale.

As for 5.1 surround sound, we'll see. Component video..... :shock: Although I don't think the entire game will have 5.1 capabilities. Maybe just the intro movies and such, probably 2.0 surround during racing. I guess I'll have to check if its in 5.1....

If you want nurburgring you can play project gotham racing 2 with like a carrera GT or something. Sweet game, and as long as im on the topic the best game ever grapically is rallisport challenge 2.

It has a few seconds of the M3 GTR. :)
The firs bit is like DTM racing...You see some Opels, the TT DTM car, CLK DTM, M3 GTR, 190E, ect ect...alittle rally, then they show how the drivers are actually going to be moving the steering wheel and shifting (they use a Shelby Cobra to show) and some more rally and you see how the photographers run into the street then sprint back...its amazing.

If there is a DTM mode, and there is a 190E, and NOT an E30 M3, that could seriously be just about enough to make me not want to buy the game.

If the developers know enough about DTM racing to include a 190E in with that racing genre and not have an E30 M3 to compete against it, it makes me seriously question the knowledge of the development team for GT4.

I think the soundtrack is awsome on that video.

Edit: I saw the link to the 300-something cars..... and I am still not 100% convinced that the e30 is not there. Unless I see the GT4 team say it themselves, I'd rather believe otherwise.

That list of cars ( like stated ) has just about 50 repeated cars. Also, if you look at some of the major cars in this game.... like the Skylines, you'll notice that there is no R32, or R33, which means they are still working on it.

In my mind, they are still working on the E30 M3 8) .

That being said, the fact that it doesnt/doesnt have the E30 M3 wont change the fact that I'll be in the shopping mall at 10am to get my copy of GT4
