yea, the deal was that they thought it was just broken in half, but when they got in there they found one half, and then a whole lot of little crushed pieces of bone. soooo they picked out all the crushed pieces and ground them up with some kinda synthetic stuff which formed a paste or something. then they took that paste and put it back in my knee which (i guess) dryed or something. then they took 2 screws and some wire and put it all back together.

then on my ankel (which was crushed in places). they took some of that paste (from my knee) and filled in missing spots. then put everything else back to where it was supposed to be and took 3 screws and some wire and made sure it was gona stay.

sometimes things seem very "crude" to me, such as staples in the leg etc.

i have no doubt that in the near future the modifying of genes will allow superfast cell regeneration/reproduction rates...you could be up in a couple hours
