ew. e30 'weaves are really nice on that car. I suppose euro weaves would then be even better.

I like the spoke pattern, but they need a lip.

Those aren't Hockenheims, those are Kyalami's, see here. Our IS has Hockenheims, which are essentially BBS knockoffs.

OP: TSW wheels are widely regarded as being very soft. The wheels above have several chunks out of the lips from the previous owner hitting potholes. They are also not very light. The reason they're on the car above is they look better than the weaves that were on it and the car was only $600. :D I would highly recommend staying away from those wheels you posted above.

If you're looking for non-standard E30 wheels a good place to look is vwvortex.com. They have a 4x100 forum that sees a ridiculous number of posts and hits every day. Just remember for the most part you will also have to include the price of spacers (~$200) and longer lug bolts or a Vorshlag stud kit ($50) into the price of most of the wheels you find.

Good luck, and give those TSW wheels a pass.

                    Tim

EDIT; BTW, those wheels are only $159 each brand new from discount tire.

okay thanks. we don't have discount tire here. I can check out Canadian Tire and see maybe
but these wheels were previously on an e30 so he has all the stuff included in the price(and the priceis CDN)

Here's a thread that has an E30 with Kyalamis on it. Now just picture them on your car.

                              gross.

They look really cheap and I've heard horror stories about their "quality". The steelies look clean. I say rock them untill you have enough money to get real wheels.
