    SERE school

My best friend just made it into SERE school for the Army....he was telling me that you have to sign a waiver that allows the instructors to break one major bone and one minor bone in your body if they deem it necessary. Heavy shit man! He is training to be an Army helicopter pilot though and eventually he wants to fly with this mega elite squadron that basically specifically caters to Special Forces missions....Just thought I'd share!

yeah, its no light task. in the airforce, my one friend had his jaw broken by an instructor. i might one day take a pilot slot or become a boom operator and have to go through it.

Yeah. I'll have to go through it for the Navy after flight school. I have friends that have done it, and they say it was pretty intense

HAHA, usually in the situation where they break a bone is when you are a simulated POW and they torture you! its no joke they prep you for real stuff that can happen to you, it prepares you for the worst. It makes you aware of what to expect if captured and how to handle the situation.

My life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather i will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW..What a ride!
