    I thought I was tall...but 6'9"!

I'm 6'4" and the car fits me great....unless I go over one of those LA pot holes, which usually throws my head into the roof :curse:

andddd my car sits as low as I've seen an e30, maybe 3 inches for oil pan

watching me get in and out must be like watching a a giraffe attack a squirrel...fuck it, i love my car

You should see me getting out of a Yaris, Echo, or, Versa at work.

I used to drive a Ford Festiva and getting out of the car would often surprise the parking attendants at the garage downtown.

            LOL!! amen.

I'm 6'4". Like a glove. Everyone at work always gives me shit about how small my car is. E30 and E28 both have sport seats. Seems like there's more room in the E28. Wish the seats in the E30 sat lower. I'm thinking a smaller steering wheel will probably help, too.

              6'5 here

I fit ok with stock seats, but to wear a helmet I need something much lower, to fit comfortably and able to go over dips/crests, even lower. Basically the rear of my seat bracket is flat across, the front is around 1 (maybe 2") up, I forget. Doing this let me keep the rear heater vents under the seat.

If you can find a car without a sunroof or remove yours, the headliner is an inch or so higher up ;)

Moving my seat so far down/back, I also needed to relocate the steering wheel down/back or my knees would hit it when braking, esp. heel toe etc. The shifter also had to come back a little or I couldn't reach 5th gear comfortably without lifting my shoulders off the back of the seat. Not that I'll ever reach 5th at any local tracks, but hey!

I don't know if thats helpful or not, but just do a lot of mocking up, measuring, mocking up and more measuring before you cut/weld anything. It took me a few tries adjusting things to get everything where I wanted it.

this is the difference between my seat and the pass side. Shut up, I'll buy some real seats eventually!

I think I am the 3rd person here with the same height lol. Between 2 and 3.

                Depends on who measures me.

I did not fit well in my e30, fit a lot better in my e30 m3 though.

Different seats? Otherwise, that makes no sense.
