Just how you were saying you will never see your clean e30 ever again in person and the time line shots of it leaving your life. I am sorry man, but you will be in an even better e30 for sure. Stay strong.
That's not true necessarily. I bought mine back 4.5 years later.

It was 3 years 9 months. At least get the facts straight....

I don't know what it is about these cars but they are difficult to walk away from. When I sold the S50 car I told myself that I was done for a while and that I needed to focus on other things. Well that lasted for about 2 months and I found myself driving around in a euro E21. That lasted about 3 months because I couldn't stop thinking about my E30, so I sold the car. I spent about 3 months looking for a clean E30 and found one that wasn't too far away.

I know how you're feeling and I think that you and Ed(egk2) will eventually be back. When you do, take your time and find the right car, and all will be right in the world again...

Know all too well how that feels, but it is nice to have a new girl to play with after some time.

Makes me wonder what the PO of my car (on this forum) will think when he sees what has become of his baby.

Oh yeah. I was mistaking the date I purchased it with the date I sold it. Old age is doing that to me.

You did well though, you found yourself an amazingly clean car. Albeit there is no cage nor S50 but it's a nice car!

Well I suppose I thought it was "time to move on", and I suppose I was right, at that time. I don't really have any regrets, it's just that when I look at pics, I am reminded just how special that car really was. It was absolutely an incredible example of an e30. Sooo many touches that were special and made it unique. I put so much into it, and I guess I got a lot back out of it.

So many great pics over the course of ownership, so many. What a beautiful car the e30 is.

Who knows, I may yet wind up in another one before all is said and done.

that guy monty has done to it?
Well other than making sure it's always clean, he's blacked out the kidney's, removed all the stone guard on the front and rear valance, painted the rockers body color, added HID's, painted the tails all red, that's about all for now.

Sorry you miss your car Bobby. Obviously you have great taste, you should resurrect another one.

I am so glad this car went to a worthwhile owner. Hope to see the car again soon. It was CLEAN at the picnic this year.

                              seller's remorse...

i think we've all been there once but it makes us appreciate what we had and i believe since we are all patrons of this board we can testify that new is not always better. i sold my e30 to make space for my e36 and guess what....yup you guessed it right back in the e30 game again.

keep your chin up and know that if you are seriously missing it, its not a person/human being you can get it back if not something very similar. i think half the fun of these darn cars is working on em and the other half is driving the poop out of em.

life's too short-if you feel the same after a while lets go hunting for e30's
