Ebay shinanigans

So I bid on the seats on ebay with the rear armrest... won it for 51 dollars...

The seller says local pick up... see it for yourself

then when I won the seller said I need to pay 51 dollars in handling charge on top of 51 of winning bid... for me to pick it up. Then she refused to give me a pick up location, by always directing my questions elsewhere. WTF... totally dooshbag...

Report the hell out of them to Ebay- they probably won't do much, but that's bullshit.

I'd drop by that address one day with $51 cash and tell them I was there to pickup the seat I won on Ebay. OR, just call and call them asking when and where to pickup the seats. If they mention a handling charge of even 0.01 cents, I'd call BS on them and tell them that if that is the case, it should have been clearly listed in the auction.


Don't let the fuckers get away with this shit- Ebay has become a haven for thieves and scammers, add the shitty sellers like this to the mix and it's like sweet and sour asshole soup. ;)

yea... I'm thinking about dropping by with my brother and bitch the shit out of them even if just for shits and giggles. Yea, I dont expect too much from people that have low feedback, but seriously this one was local and pick up only. I live like 30 min away, couldnt pass it up.

turns out the she is s he, and he's name is dan, and he email me back saying that he jsut put that if shipping is required... ... kinda of far fetch... cause he said no shipping what so ever, local pick up only, and not only that, I emailed him twice to confirm I'm picking up and I'm in College park, about 30 min away... So I'm picking it up sunday... wish it actually works out... all I have to say is ... pretty sketchy... he even gave a different address than the one online and gave me a different number as well... I hope the seat is at least as described.

It's not all bad on ebay, I buy at least 5 or 6 things monthly from people on ebay and have not once been screwed... It's all in the feedback and asking questions.
