    Steelies FTW

So I'm going to be purchasing some steelies and widening them...pretty much end of story BUT before I do anything, does anyone know if any other car has steelies that would work the same?

If I understand correctly hubcentric is the way to go unless you get studs...in which lugcentric can be used. Trying to minimize shake the best I can.

I'm looking for deep dish with a very old school appeal.

I figured starting a thread in here would better than in the photoshop section...

Any help or thoughts would be great. Thanks.

vortex is your friend for 4x100 wheels. They always have the sickest wheels for sale over there.

You don't need to buy the wheels if you're going to put a stud kit in. Any VW steelie would work decently well as far as vibration goes if you have a stud kit.

BHR Steelies are pretty dope. And they are like $750+ shipping. So no need to buy your own wheels unless you want hubcentric.

If you want hubcentric, find the stock steel wheels that came on the '90 318i. I've seen them on here for as little as $40/all 4. Then have those widened. GL and lets see the pics when you're done.

        e30 325is - e30 M3 [FOR SALE] - Audi S4 - '78 F-250 .....clicky clicky

Does anyone know a place in Socal to get them widened?

I've been to the shop up in stockton (i bet the shit out of one of my last rims)...now I can't remember what that place is called.

Any ideas for Socal/Cal wheel shops that do this?

Alright...I think I need some help from the wheel people.

I talked to some people today and they offer a 16x10 and 16x8...unfortunately I was looking for a 16x9 up front.

Can I make a 16x10 work all around?? How extensive will fender rolling be (not that I don't already expect the answers I know I'm going to get)?

Can someone further explain what is known as "inner diameter"? Apparently if I were to want to create a larger diameter the minimum ID of the steelie (before widening) would have to be at least 12 7/8.

FINALLY...how much do steelies weigh in stock form?

I appreciate any insight on all of this!!! Thanks :)

thats where I'm probably going to get them...dimondracing only makes a 10"...9" has to be custom made :\

edit: forgot to ask if anyone had any input on a specific backspacing...So what backspacing/offset would work with 16x10 all around!?
