You'd probably want to go with Boge Turbo Gas shocks...... they are significantly cheaper than Bilsteins.

I have no clue where you could find stock shocks brand new. If there is a place, I wouldnt think it's cheaper than Boge shocks either.

i actually haven't yet ordered anything from them myself, but they offer free shipping on orders over $50, so i was planning to when i needed something.

Ive bought LOTS from alloembmwparts.com They are just a part of The Parts Bin.com but they are good guys who will talk to you on the phone to track something down if its not on thier online catalog and they give you free UPS ground shipping on orders above $50. That is almost anything for a BMW.

The only bad thing is they are in upstate NY so if you are south or west it can take 4-5 days to get to you if you dont pay for air.

Although unless price matched Bavautos prices can seem high part of it goes into the fact that they are actually BMW guys instead of just a parts wholesaler. Ian was a huge help in getting me a brand new Euro front bumperset and parts cheaply and VERY quickly after my wreck to help get the car put back together. That and they sponsor BMW related events.
                        Im now E30less.
