Moved in to my new shop :)

Just got my junk in there today. The owner still has a lot of his stuff in there but hes getting it all cleared out for me. The guy is a HUGE packrat and saves EVERYTHING, I should have taken "before" pictures. You couldn't even walk through it.

    Its heated
Has an air compressor (I brought my own though)
And I have access to a lift.

So its pretty sweet, heres some pics I took.

    M3 In ;)

    My junk

His air comp, a heater, tons of crap, and several electrical violations lol

Back shelf with his crap on it

The shop is in an L shape, I can easily fit two cars in here, w00t parts car place!

Shelves I doubt I will ever use lol

    Looking out

This is some of the crap right outside my shop

    Full frontal of the place

What would happen if the place burned to the ground and your M went with it? Your insurance wouldn't cover it, would it?

How? Isn't auto insurance just there to cover theft and colissions? I know that if your car were destroyed if your house burned down, your auto insurance would not replace it, home owner's would. But you don't have this shop insured, and I'm sure that guy is not insured for renting his shop out. So who is responsible?

I'm not trying to be contradictory and shit, just wondering. I'd be scared to leave a valueable car there.

Storage insurance. I brought this up with my agent a few years back, and I double check every year before I put it back in.

If the building collapses, burns down, floods, etc... and my car is destoryed I get compensated for it.

Well there you go. I didn't know such a thing existed, but I guess if athletes can insure their legs, you can pretty much insure anything.

Holy fucking shit, that corner/electrical panel is the scariest fucking thing I've ever seen.

I wouldn't park my car in there if that was the only place I had to park.

No offense, but I have to agree. I'd rather throw a tarp over it and stick it outside..
