    oil light

So my oil was low so the light came on the check panel, and it needed to be changed anyway. So i changed the oil and it was full, but the light on the check panel is still on for low oil. is there a bad sensor or something?

Probably a sensor, my car does the same thing. A dealer told me that if your oil level is good, ignore the light.

if your willing, you may want to pull the oil level sensor and clean the snot out of it. I believe someone posted a write-up on it and said that there is no way for a sensor to go bad, unless it gets dirty, then all you have to do is clean it.
