Damn, that looks like a perfect match to the STi gold rims. Thanks man. I'll see if I can find that paint locally.Leave a comment:

Yes buckskin

Just bought it at checker auto parts. Its just regular spray paint. Holds up good and thats with no clear coat. I imagine if you put a clear coat on there it will hold up/look even better!Leave a comment:

That's perfect. It's called Buckskin? Where did you buy it? Is that wheel paint or just spray paint?
Jscotty, why does it look bad?Leave a comment:

Might be too dark of a gold for what you are looking for..

My only objection to gold spray paint is that it looks horrible after a few months.Leave a comment:

Gold & bronze wheel paint
I am getting another set of rims that I am going to paint gold or bronze. I'd love to see pics of wheels you've painted, and what brand/color paint you used. I know one company's gold can be extremely different than another company's gold.
I think Duplicolor's Bronze shade is more like a dark gunmetal instead of bronze as well, but I'd like to see wheels painted in any gold/bronze color.Tags: None
