Maybe I am too much of a purist but I just cannot stand the thought of a Detroit engine being shoehorned into an E30 when the Bavarians make some of the finest engines in the world. An M60 engine couldn't be that hard to get a hold of in comparison to what you have to do in order to make a chevy or a ford fit.

They are from Alabama how many BMW purist do you think live there?
This one reminds me of the one(e30 318) on ebay sometime back that was a rare european import with a 302 ford v8 in it from the factory
