instrument cluster

ok i have the blue and white large plugs but i cant find the large yellow plug that goes at the bottom anywhere, i have an 84 318i, do you think maybe i never had it? i need this hooked up .

Do you have the cluster that came with the car? What year is the new one from?

You never had the Yellow plug. Blue and White is all there is on an '84 car.

ok, got it hooked up but the tach wont work, it worked a year ago befor i took it out of the car, it has new batteries, what else could it be?
