I'd be down for a renegade Freebie night time meet up? Is there not a single "free" event at this thing? Not even to go look at the cars? ghey.

I say all the r3ver's meet up outside of O'fest and do something one night. Plenty to places to go in downtown Fort Worth.

are they really? I haven't been an e30 owner for long, but I sense a more sophisticated crowd? I could be wrong. Not saying sophistication equals not broke.. blah I don't where I was going with this.

I still long to ride in a non M3 e30 that is running correctly. I need something to base the feel of my junkers off of.

Normally I would agree with this thought, but if they ponied up for the O'fest fees, they can spare $3 for a beer (or a milk if they're kiddies).;)

Everyone bashes on O'fest being so expensive. I went last year and paid for just the autox and a one day pass and went to receptions and the vendor show on the other days with no questions asked.

People were glad to have us there (we were deff. the young crowd) and very open to come say hi. It's cool to see and maybe meet the writers/editors that you read monthly in Roundel. Among other things, the e92 M3 is likely to be there!!

You wont be disappointed if you live close by, other than the first day they dont have a gate where you must pay admission to go beyond or something like that.

Pay for something and according to my experience youre good to go. And by the way I rocked my 318 from VA to Michigan, did 2 sessions at the autox, and an open track day all in 5 days on one set of tires, no repairs - no nothin.

Well you all let me know where you are meeting and I can try to be there...

I suggest the concours event on Friday on the museum lawn. Figure it should be a nice photo ops opportunity. I will also be ckng out the club race on Sat at MSR. It is about a 30minute drive from my place.

I have to say tho, the prices are pretty steep! I was going to AX, but it aint worth >$60 to run the minring.

I was hoping to have my car finished in time but it's not going to happen. I've got a free place to stay up there too. Just a few hours up I-35, may as well be a million though.

                            Dammit.

Alrighty, well I'm heading out here in a bit. I'll check the board again from my brothers laptop.

I went by the club race and DE school on Sat. There was no admission fee to watch.

THere were some pretty cool track prepared cars from E21s to E46s and a Mini. Most E30s were of the M3 variety. THe most numerous car had to be the E36 chassis.
