The life and death of my E30 (long)

Well, I just finished cutting apart my First E30 yesterday. Not only was it my first E30 but it was my first car.
I was looking at pics of it on my PC and i realized how big of a change it went through. Even though it was a 318i Ill still miss it.
My girlfriend FUBARed it into a curb at 60mph. Shattering everything on the front of the engine and ruining the right front strut tower. Since it was only a 318 and it had already been totalled before. I decided to part it out.
Heres some pics of it in order of when i first got it to when i cut it in half. I threw in some pics of the few times i hit stuff with the pan. unfortunatly i didnt get any pics of the last wreck because my GF did it in KY.

First day i got it Crappy wheels and all:

The day i got rear-ended in the lowes parking lot. Said he was looking at trailers

My old setup (bilstein sports, BAV-AUTO springs)

Took my car to a german auto shop and the window got shot out with a bb gun

M42 sump pan VS. Railroad tracks

    First new pan

Random shots, I was def ready to get rid of the AR's

    Hello Hyperblack Kopis:D

The week we got 12'' of rain. This was a local road that ive never seen flooded(I-26 and US-1)

Parts shopping for the cabrio at Julien/Redbull325is's place

    Another Focking pan impact

    Second New pan

Time to choose my weapon of choice

I know some of you would have chosen a dozer for a 318 but i chose the JD.

Sitting beside the old S-eta 528

    Strut carnage

    I had fun;)

    Pretty Self explanatory

Jack point, I thought the amount of bracing they use was interesting

    The End,

Overall i enjoyed that car, Even though it was a Shitbox as julien called it.

I got alot of use out of it (4 years) Onto the next one:D

To be honest they worked well, Never had any problems with them. I wont however go so far as to say they helped in performance.
They just looked pretty cool. And they were cheaper than OE. Only bought one set though

Actually im planning on making a trailer out of the back half. It wont resemble a E30 but i am using the rear mounting provisions because i have a Extra rear subframe, wheels, trailing arms.
The main reason is so i can pull it with my 318is. Because im selling my truck and i want to be able to move engines.

It looks like it just came back from the losing end of a fight.
