I'd hope they find them, Unless they do something drastic like take them off shore or something its going to be kinda obvious. Those are not exactly common rims and like we mentioned earlier that they are covered in hard to remove serial numbers that are listed on the invoce when you get them.
wheel locks are a waste of money. they'll slow somebody down for a couple of seconds, but all they do is take off the other three and then use the wheel to apply torque to the lock bolt until it breaks.
*On a side note, has anyone with really expensive wheels considered using wheel locks for every lug?
Something tells me thieves that seriously want wheels would collect these "keys" for wheel locks. There's only so many different types, you know.
If I was a wheel thief (hypothetically, of course), I sure would.
"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."
there are such things called wheel lock key sets... they are like a set of 5 or 6 wheel lock keys that are basically universal... my dad has a set at his shop they arent for my personal use...
